What do we mean by 'Groups'?

Groups can be any number of people sharing a common interest. It could be a group of hospitality providers from the same village wanting to put their community more firmly on the map, or visitors united by a common interest in Welsh cuisine, Welsh wildlife or even bog-snorkeling. Go on, have a go. It's FREE! Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Create Event?

Anyone can add an event in this space. Simply click on the 'Create Event' link above and fill in the details of the event you want listed.

Join our community network today. It's FREE and open to everyone interested in Wales

As a visitor or tourism hospitality provider in Wales, this is your social network where new friends can be made, your photographs, videos, news, views and stories can be shared, and your comments welcomed. If you love Wales, this is the place for you!

What kind of discussions can I start?

Anything relating to Wales that interests you...the state of the arts in Wales, the astonishing revival of the Welsh language, why Welsh Lamb is favoured by top chefs in Paris, why there are more Jones's in Wales than there are Smiths in England (is that really true?), why Wales is a favoured holiday destination for over 12m UK visitors every year...and what Wales means to you personally.

Spending Easter in Wales

Easter bank holiday is fast approaching; have you made your holiday plans yet? Well what could be better than taking yourself off to Wales as a treat. A short break in Wales offers all sorts of benefits that you simply can’t find elsewhere. Wales comes alive during the spring, the countryside and coastlines are at their spectacular best and there are a wide variety of activities for all visitors old and young. Yes the weather cannot be guaranteed but that is the same in most places and there is… Continue

The Celtic Trail

The Celtic Trail covers 377 miles from end to end starting at the Severn Bridge and running to the tip of Pembrokeshire, it is one of the most glorious and diverse walks/rides on this earth. It shows off the best that Wales has to offer; showcasing varied scenery from green valleys, former industrial heartland, to canal tow paths, disused railways, forests, mountains and even cities and coastal paths. Your journey along the Celtic Trail is mostly traffic free… Continue

Central Wales

Often when people think of Wales they think of the resorts of the north and the cities of the south but if you are looking for something a bit different, something off the beaten track then Mid-Wales fits the bill. It has the wonderful Cambrian coastline and an inland landscape of lakes, forests, hills and mountains. This area of Wales exists without the mass tourism trappings of the north and offers small resorts and seclusion. This is not to say the region is stuck in the past; the coast offer… Continue

Bed & Breakfast in Wales

Wales has seen a big improvement in its accommodation for holidaymakers in recent years. Gone are the old run down B&Bs and hotels and in their place are more modern styles suited to the needs and wants of the modern traveller who are looking for comfort and style but at the right price. They have not become the impersonal hotels of the big chains but have evolved to provide a comfortable yet modern ambience.

What are blogs?

Short for web logs, blogs are for anyone who wants to keep their own online diary or provide a narrative to share with friends who can add comments if you invite them. As a visitor you can provide a blow-by-blow account of your holiday experience in Wales (warts and all!); if you're a hospitality provider you might find time between making the beds and hanging out the washing to write a weekly account of the joys of, um, well...providing hospitality to visitors!

What kind of videos can I add?

Videos can be funny to give us all the daily dose of aerobics that laughter provides (no wonder overweight Kings kept jesters) or serious to provoke discussion and feed the grey cells.
